Lasts are the forms that provide shoemakers the foundation for building a shoe. The last used during crafting the shoe will affect the overall fit for width, instep height, and toe box shape. While the vast majority of fit issues can be resolved by changing the size, by selecting styles produced on a last that most resembles the shape of your feet, you can be more sure of a perfect fit. THE AMELIA
The Amelia is the last we use for
making our best selling mid-heel ACE boot. It has an almond shaped toe and a very comfortable 2.5” heel. This mid- heel last is built to pound-the-pavement in dressed up/dressed down style.
This last works for: Everyone, but if you run wide try going up a half size.

Our sneaker last. The ALMA has a roomy round toe and a classic sneaker shape. It’s flat and low profile, so great with everything from skirts, to suits, to denim.
This last is best for: Everyone, but if you run narrow, try going down a half size.

The VALE has an almond toe and 1.25” heel. It is one of our most tried and true lasts used on our best-selling styles such as the WIT, the WEAR and the KEEN. It has a classic oxford/loafer shape, but the almond toe makes beautiful, feminine lines.

The DIEGO is our round toe boot last. It’s been with us since the beginning of FREDA and has proven to be a best seller because of its comfortable fit. This is one of the roomiest lasts we offer and it has a 1” heel. It’s a classic that will live in your closet for years and years.
This last works for: Everyone. If you are narrow, try a half size down.

The ELLA has a classic and feminine silhouette that features a pointy toe on a 1.75” heel. This is your power shoe. It’s gorgeous, dresses up everything you wear it with and the heel is low enough for everyday wear.
This last works for: Narrow to average. Due to the pointy toe box we recommend sizing up a 1/2 size.
